New York New Jersey Stadium

New York New Jersey Stadium is scheduled for group-stage matches, knockout games, and the 2026 World Cup final on July 19.

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford is the tournament's final venue and the anchor for the New York/New Jersey host region. It is a large open-air stadium built for two NFL teams and major metropolitan events. For 2026, the venue's role is simple and enormous: it is where the expanded 48-team tournament ends, and where the champion will lift the trophy.

Opened in 2010, MetLife Stadium replaced Giants Stadium and became the shared home of the Giants and Jets. It has hosted Super Bowl XLVIII, Copa America Centenario, the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, international soccer, college football, concerts, and large civic events.
